Recently we expanded our philanthropic outreach in the community to help another great organization in need. Only this time the recipients were a little different than usual. Spring Hill Rescue whose mission is to protect Vermont’s equines through: Education, prevention & advocacy and rescue, rehabilitation & re-homing reached out to the community with the need of hay for some seriously undernourished horses. A farmer was willing to donate the hay but needed someone to load and deliver it. With the help of some employees and President Heather Ferrara, over 400 bales were delivered just in time.
Here is what Spring Hill had to say. “What does New England Air Systems have to do with horse rescue? Last week, and again today, Heather, Jason and Andrew from New England Air loaded, delivered, and stacked a total of 400 bales of donated hay using their truck. We think the New England Air trucks are PERFECT for hay delivery, and that they are rock stars and angels. And a very big thank you to Mark for donating the hay!” To learn more about Spring Hill Rescue you can check out their Facebook page: Spring Hill Rescue
