City Market Deli Area Renovation
New England Air Systems service and operations department worked together to assist in City Market’s recent deli renovation. City Market was adding a larger Grab-N-Go case to their lineup. This required removing the existing smaller unit, installing the new case, and relocating a 24’ cheese case. New England Air Systems staff worked while the store was closed, over successive weeks, to install the necessary refrigeration piping.
This project involved overhead piping, as well as running refrigeration and drain lines in below grade trenches. The refrigeration lines were placed to ensure the piping that was in view of the public was aesthetically pleasing. Our intent was to keep the piping as high as possible, under the lowered ceiling area of the deli/sandwich area, but they will have to be exposed in spots as they transition to the area at the back of the store where they will join with the rest of piping on its path above the coolers toward the rack system on the roof.
We tied the new refrigeration lines into the refrigeration rack and ensured proper operation. New England Air Systems was able to complete this project with minimal affect on the store operation. The customer is extremely satisfied with the result and is considering future renovations.
